It’s time to raise your voice and dust off those dancing shoes as Leicester’s Got Talent (LGT) is back for its seventh year! If you’re between the ages 8-25 and have a talent you’re just dying to share; you have until 12 November to enter this year’s show-stopping event via our website:

Nominations will then be whittled down to a shortlist who will be invited to perform at the live event on 24 November at The Y Theatre in front of a panel of judges.

Last year’s event saw a diverse range of gifted youngsters take to the stage, from soulful singing acts to dynamic dance performances, but it was 12-year-old singer-songwriter Eva Rose who dazzled the judges with her vocals and was crowned the overall winner.

The accomplished singer recently announced that she’s made it as a finalist on this year’s CBBC talent series, Got What It Takes which starts on 24 September.

Sue Langley, chief executive of LAMP and sponsor of LGT, said: “At LAMP we believe everyone should have a voice. We encourage young people to socialise and use their talents to also talk about mental health in diverse ways. Every year we are amazed by the young people who take part in Leicester’s Got Talent, and so we are excited to meet those taking part in this years’ event in November.”

The winning prize is an iPad and £200 worth of vouchers for the overall winner.
